ClearCorrect Collaborator Request – Tutorial

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW CAN I APPLY CORRECLTY THE ATTACHMENT TO THE PATIENT?

Attachments are apply before delivering the first mask, except in special cases. After applying an opener, you apply the mordant on the indicated surfaces; after rinsing abundantly, paying attention to not contaminate the surfaces with saliva, you have to apply the bondig. Therefore, using the template, filling the appropriate spaces with fluid composite: this operation requires special care to avoid the formation of bubbles that would compromise the integrity of the attachment. Then the template should be applied to the teeth of the patient and applying a pressure on the sides of each attachment using a tweezers college it will polymerize for 30 seconds each attachment. At the end of the session, excess bonds are removed by using a courette M23.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO REMOVE THE ATTACHMENT AND WHAT INSTRUMENT CAN I USE?
Attachments must be removed at the end of each masks cycle before taking the finishing or containment impression. To remove them, we use tungsten carbide multilame cutters mounted on a turbine without irrigation.
WHEN AND HOW DO I HAVE TO USE THE THE INTERARCH ELASTICS?
The elastics should be used whenever in the treatment is plan a upper arch distalization. The elastics should be put on since the distal movement of the second premolar, according to Align Technology’s instructions; usually this step corresponds to 6 / 7 fulltime mask for the entire duration of the treatment. However, elasticities are recommended also to avoid unwanted movements in cases involving stripping, in these cases is required no full-time but night-time collaboration.
WHEN AND HOW DO I HAVE TO REQUEST ADDITIONAL ALIGNER?
At the end of the first set of aligners, there may be a small discrepancy between the goal programmed by Clincheck and the result obtained for several reasons (few patient collaboration, difficulty of the programmed movement, etc.). In all these cases, it is advisable to request additional aligners.
To request additional aligners you have to remove the old attachments; new ones will be provided for the new treatment plan; New impression and new intra and extraoral photographs are needed and a new Clincheck treatment plan will then be proposed to the doctor.
STRIPPING: WHAT IS? WHAT IS ITS FUNCTION? IS IT DANGEROUS FOR THE TEETH? HOW CAN I DO IT IN THE BEST WAY?

Stripping means interstitial reduction of the dental element, this procedure is done to solve the crowding by avoiding excessive proclination of the teeth. This procedure is used in Invisalign orthodontic as in classical one and has been extensively studied in the literature: it is excluded any link between stripping and the incidence of interproximal caries or the onset of thermal sensitivity.
Stripping, depending on the entity, can be performed manually or by using rotating tools.

This is the kit we recommend to you for teeth stripping. As you can see in the photos, there are different thicknesses for each situation and a measuring gauge for measuring interproximal spaces.
To be able to use this kit you need to have an oscillating Eva contra-angle handpiece. This kit helps you prevent soft tissue irritation, avoid cutting excessive enamel, and maximize patient comfort.
